You will design power distribution systems for diverse facilities, including governmental and industrial projects and might involve travel. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, have at least five years of relevant experience in consulting, and possess strong communication skills. Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes.
• Experience observing field conditions and effective communication with contractors.
• Minimum of 5 years in the consulting professional services industry.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution systems for various facilities.
• Involve periodic travel for project requirements.
• Provide guidance to CAD/Revit technicians and other Engineers.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes

Ability to collaborate on multiple projects concurrently

Ability to assume task leadership responsibilities

Experience observing field conditions

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong understanding of power system design analysis

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and REVIT

Familiarity with Lighting Calculation Software

Familiarity with Generator sizing software

Familiarity with voltage drop and arc flash calculators

Familiarity with energy analysis software

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering

Licensure as a professional engineer or ability to obtain within six months

Minimum of 5 years in consulting professional services industry
