Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Food & Beverage Engineering team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role requires at least 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. The engineer will lead projects, mentor junior staff, and ensure high quality of engineering documents.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• PE license in any state with the ability to obtain it in other states.
• Knowledge of codes, statutes, and laws related to building design and construction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead engineer on complex projects.
• Provide technical mentorship to less experienced staff.
• Update design standards for calculations and best practices.
• Prepare and perform QA/QC of plans and specifications.
• Support development of project cost estimates.

Skills

3D building modeling (Revit preferred)

Lighting design software (AGI32 preferred)

Power design software (SKM Power Tools and/or EasyPower preferred)

Microsoft Office Suite

Preparation of construction documents
