Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Advanced Power Generation to lead electrical design and project delivery across complex power projects. The role covers one-line diagrams, motor schematics, cable sizing, load flow studies, and equipment specifications, utilizing ETAP or SKM and AutoCAD.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, develop man-hour budgets, attend site meetings, and ensure compliance with NEC/IEEE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Pre-employment checks may include criminal/civil background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead project and technical guidance on assigned Conventional Power Generation projects.
• Develop electrical drawings: one-line and three-line diagrams; motor schematics; wiring diagrams.
• Create BOMs and equipment specifications; perform complex electrical calculations.
