Job summary

Jedson Engineering Inc. is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, analysis and specification of power distribution systems for a range of projects from facility modifications to full EPC contracts.

Some travel to project and construction sites will be required. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience, proficiency with PSCAD and ETAP, and a strong working knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA and NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Senior Electrical Engineer with 15+ years of experience in power distribution and EPC projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead PSCAD and ETAP studies for utility-scale and industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA and NFPA codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis and specification of power distribution systems for projects ranging from facility modifications to EPC contracts.
• Develop technical recommendations from transient overvoltage, insulation coordination and protection studies.
• Collaborate with Power Generation team and site personnel; some travel to project/ construction sites.
