Job summary

Jedson Engineering in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and specification of power distribution systems for utility-scale and industrial projects. Some travel to project sites will be required.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience, strong knowledge of PSCAD/ETAP, and familiarity with NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA standards. PE or EIT with PE option is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• PE license or EIT with intent to obtain PE preferred.
• Experience leading design and reviews of power distribution systems for utility-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and specification of power distribution systems.
• Review PSCAD and ETAP studies for utility-scale gas, renewable, BESS, and industrial projects.
• Develop technical recommendations from transient overvoltage, insulation coordination, system stability, and protection studies.
• Travel to project and construction sites as required.
