Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases in Huntington Beach, CA, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and manage electrical systems for process equipment in LNG, LH2, and industrial gases applications. The role emphasizes outsourced fabrication, NEC/NFPA code compliance, and coordination with the Engineering Manager.

You will develop electrical designs, panel drawings, BOMs, single-line diagrams, and vendor specs, interface with customers on site requirements, and support

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
Experience with induction motors for rotating machinery (compressors, turbines, expanders, fans, pumps).
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70, hazard classifications; NEMA, IEC, CSA, UL standards.
CAD skills: 2D/3D CAD; AutoCAD Electrical/Mechanical.
ERP/BOM management systems.

Responsibilities

Review customer specifications and produce electrical design, panel drawings, BOMs, single line diagrams, and schematics.
Write vendor specifications and serve as the primary customer interface for electrical requirements and installation support.
Supervise checkout and testing of electrical systems at manufacturing sites, vendors, or customer sites; travel as needed.
