Job summary
BEPC Inc. is seeking a Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer to join our client’s site in Phoenix, Arizona. This 11-month W2 contract role focuses on architecture, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLC programs and control systems for new and existing equipment.
The role also provides technical leadership to junior engineers and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Onsite work in Phoenix, AZ is required; C2C/C2H not offered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation-related field.
- 6+ years PLC programming across multiple hardware platforms.
- Experience with object-oriented coding and function blocks.
- Experience with LabVIEW, VeriStand, Python, and .NET.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical control systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and test PLC programs for new and existing equipment.
- Provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
- Define control system requirements and develop detailed functional specifications.
- Maintain and modify LabVIEW systems to meet evolving needs.
- Lead implementation and testing of new systems and troubleshoot issues.
