Job summary

You will provide technical expertise on power distribution, motor controls, switchgear, UPS, and substations, develop drawings, perform studies, and drive reliability through preventive maintenance and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5 years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial plant required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on routine electrical issues and troubleshooting guidance to refinery staff.
• Develop and update electrical drawings such as one-line diagrams, motor schematics, panel schedules and related drawings.
• Prepare MOC documentation and shepherd through PSR, startup, and closeout.
• Contribute to plant electrical reliability strategies including capital projects and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare and review short circuit, load flow, arc flash, and motor starting studies.
• Coordinate high voltage switching procedures and oversee execution by maintenance personnel.
• Review electrical PM test reports and support turnaround activities.
• Interface with the local power utility and manage electrical equipment risk rankings.
