Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Philadelphia or Wayne, PA team, focusing on complex commercial and institutional building projects. You will lead electrical design and documentation throughout all project phases and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires a PE license and 10+ years of experience in building power systems, with collaboration alongside architects, clients, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred or required.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience on complex buildings.
• Strong knowledge of building power distribution and codes.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and documentation for complex projects.
• Design and oversee building power distribution systems.
• Perform energy load and related calculations.
• Coordinate with architects, MEPs, and contractors.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to staff.
• Prepare proposals and participate in client meetings.
