Job summary

BKV Group in Dallas, TX seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE license required) to lead electrical design for multi-family, commercial, and civic projects. You will mentor staff and coordinate with architecture and MEP teams to deliver robust design packages.

Qualifications

• Active PE license required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ electrical building systems design experience.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting, emergency systems and life safety.
• Strong ability to lead technical discussions and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project criteria and engineering parameters to design compliant electrical systems.
• Direct electrical calculations and construction document sets.
• Coordinate design with architecture, structure, MEP teams.
• Support construction administration including RFIs and submittals.
• Mentor project engineers, designers, and junior staff.
• Help establish firm electrical design standards and QA/QC processes.
• Communicate concepts and options to clients and authorities.
