Job summary

Long & Associates Architects & Engineers seeks an experienced Electrical / Sr. Electrical Engineer PE to join our Tampa team. Design electrical systems for renovations and new construction, and prepare construction documents with BIM and REVIT.

We value independence, teamwork, and creativity, with opportunities for leadership on major projects. Occasional travel is required; relocation may be needed to support Florida projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; MSEE preferred.
• Florida PE license required.
• 5 years of experience minimum in electrical engineering.
• LEED AP or BD+C is a plus.
• RCDD is a major plus.
• Knowledge of REVIT and BIM favored.
• Strong leadership and client management skills.
• Ability to multi-task on several projects.

Responsibilities

• Design power, lighting, and signal systems for diverse buildings.
• Collaborate with architectural and mechanical teams; utilize REVIT for BIM.
• Perform electrical calculations and protective coordination.
• Apply energy modelling to meet ASHRAE/energy requirements; LEED considerations.
• Prepare construction drawings in AUTOCAD/REVIT per codes.
• Lead prime electrical projects and interact with clients for requirements.
