A client in the engineering and building design industry is hiring a senior-level, licensed Electrical Engineer for an immediate, permanent full-time opportunity in Tampa, FL. This is a direct-hire role (not a contract engagement) and is 100% onsite at the Tampa office; remote and hybrid arrangements are not available. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 5+ years of relevant building systems design experience after licensure preferred
• Proven electrical engineering experience with a focus on system design, project management, and construction oversight
• Demonstrated proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, CAD software, lighting design, power design, and Florida codes
• Working knowledge of low-voltage systems such as data, security, CCTV, mass notification, or fire alarm coordination
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong scheduling and resource allocation skills
• Strong leadership, communication, client service, and team collaboration skills

Bonus Points

• RCDD certification is a strong plus
• Experience with generators, UPS systems, EV charging, photovoltaics, or commissioning
