Job summary

Astrion is seeking an Electrical Engineer IV to join the RTC Test and Engineering Services (RTES) Contract for Army Division at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. The role requires high-level electrical design, development, and testing in a military context.

Candidates must meet advanced degree/experience criteria and be able to obtain a Secret clearance; travel up to 15% is expected. On-site position with full-time status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 9 years' combined eng/tech exp, or
• Master's degree plus 7 years' combined eng/tech exp, or
• PhD plus 5 years' applicable experience; all in military equipment/test.

Responsibilities

• Perform research, design, development, and test of electrical systems.
• Lead project activities and supervise engineering tasks.
• Ensure compliance with security and testing requirements.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (designated technical area)

Master's Degree in designated technical area

PhD in Engineering in appropriate area
