Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Thunder program to own payload power, data, and control electronics from the aircraft bus to deployment and payload interfaces. You will define interfaces for SMS/VMS, routing through deployment mechanisms, and ensure safety interlocks for mission payloads.

The role requires 3–6 years in aerospace/defense electrical engineering with payload or weapons systems, and eligibility for an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Formación

• 3–6 years in aerospace or defense electrical engineering with payload or weapons electrical experience.
• Firing circuit design including arming/safing logic and safety analysis.
• Payload bus architecture for power, data and control from aircraft bus to payload.
• Aerospace harness design through dynamic or articulated environments.
• GSE design for payload integration support.
• EMC analysis for safety‑critical circuits (HERO/HERP/HERF awareness).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Own the payload electrical architecture from aircraft bus to payload interfaces.
• Design firing circuits and payload control electronics.
• Define and implement the mission/vehicle management system electrical interface.
• Design harness routing through deployment mechanisms.
• Design ground support equipment to support integration and range operations.
• Perform EMC analysis for firing circuit signals in hybrid-electric airframes.
• Support lab verification of the payload electrical chain.
• Support on-aircraft integration and ground firing verification at range facilities.
