The Senior Electrical Engineer will have overall responsibilities for the electrical design on a project. The position will collaborate with and direct other electrical staff during the design and documentation of the electrical system. The position will coordinate the electrical design with all other disciplines for complete internal and external client coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare design documents appropriate for the project and in accordance with company standards.
• Advise and mentor staff to aid their growth.
• Monitor project status and development to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate the completion of documents for QA/QC review prior to deadlines.
• Coordinate staffing needs weekly with the Project Manager.
• Assist in interviewing and providing feedback on potential personnel.
• Review electrical budget hours and recommend adjustments.
• Work with the Project Manager to manage manpower needs and monitor the electrical budget.

Education/Requirements:

• Registered Professional Engineer in Texas with approximately 10 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Experience in healthcare, education, commercial, federal, and light industrial sectors.
• Ability to meet and socialize with clients to foster future work.
• Effective communication with other disciplines and consultants.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
