Job Responsibilities:
  1. Design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital or power CCAs for modern communication systems.
  2. Design circuit cards including hardware with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART.
  3. Develop and implement test plans to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
  4. Collaborate with third-party vendors for design and component selection.
  5. Coordinate with various engineering disciplines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in schematic design, parts selection, schematic capture, library management, and parts list creation.
  • Experience with EE design tools such as MATLAB, SIMULINK, Keysight ADS, and Mentor Graphics.
  • Experience reviewing and approving PWB/CCA drawings.
  • Ability to develop hardware designs from concept through testing and integration.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with RF, digital, or high power electronics, and physical/mechanical interfacing aspects.
  • Experience in developing and improving maintenance and calibration procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
