Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer for on-site support of nuclear plant operations. You will perform advanced technical engineering problem solving, guide analysis programs, and ensure adherence to applicable industry codes and regulations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of nuclear experience, with ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 qualifications. On-site work and living within one hour of the facility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience.
• Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants"
• Maintain minimum access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing per position duties

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Provide complete task management of engineering issues.
• Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management and code compliance.
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
• Support outage activities and on-site departmental coverage as required
