Job summary

AMETEK, a leading global provider of differentiated electronic instruments, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of Ortec brand nuclear instrumentation systems used for radiation detection. You will tackle mixed-signal circuit design, low-noise amplifiers, and power supply solutions for robust measurement platforms.

The role includes schematic capture, PCB bring-up, verification, and system integration with displays, batteries and digital subsystems.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering is required; MS preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant electronics design experience.
• Experience with mixed-signal and analog circuit design including amplifiers and A/D converters.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, simulate, implement and validate low-noise electronics.
• Schematic capture, prototyping, PCB bring-up, debugging and verification testing.
• Electronic system design and integration of displays, touch panels and batteries.
