Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Williams Controls is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop and test electrical components and systems for a range of vehicles and industrial applications. You will apply electrical engineering principles, analyze data, and participate in cross-functional teams to meet program goals.

Located in Portland, OR, this role emphasizes NPI support, EMC considerations, and collaboration with Manufacturing and Design teams to deliver robust engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of related engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience in automobile or commercial vehicle industry preferred.
• Proficiency with Altium and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Determines design approaches and parameters for electrical systems.
• Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts tests.
• Selects components based on analysis and reliability.
• Reviews vendor capability to support product development.
• Manages NPI design of electronic circuitry and PCB layout.
• Ensures compliance with NPI needs and deadlines.
