Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer 3 to join our team in the United States. You will design MV substations, power distribution, and mission-critical datacenter infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security across large, multi-site environments.

Ideal candidates have strong electrical design tool proficiency (ETAP, AutoCAD, SKM) and a track record delivering complex power systems with best-in-class standards. Active government clearance eligibility may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience or Master's with 3+ years in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license preferred.
• 6+ years of designing complex electrical projects including MV substations and datacenter infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead MV substation design including equipment selection and protection schemes.
• Develop power distribution designs optimizing load, cables, and switchgear.
• Spearhead Datacenter electrical design focusing on redundancy and fault tolerance.
• Design industrial process power systems and integration with automation.
• Assist with system improvements and deployments across multi-site data centers.
• Document designs and changes including drawings and test plans.
• Implement, test and operate large data center and virtualized environments.
• Perform security updates to hardware/software for system posture.
