Shermco Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and upgrade of medium- and low-voltage power systems for industrial, commercial, healthcare, and mission-critical facilities. The role blends technical leadership with client-facing advisory, project leadership, and mentoring of junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in medium & low-voltage power system engineering.
• Experience designing electrical distribution systems from utility service entrance through MV/LV equipment.
• Experience with MV/LV switchgear, transformers, protection, UPS, ATS, emergency power, grounding, metering and SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design for medium & low-voltage distribution systems.
• Develop and review one-line diagrams, layouts, specs, and calculations.
• Coordinate with utilities for service requirements and modifications.
• Review submittals and provide technical recommendations.
• Lead projects, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets; mentor junior engineers.
• Support construction activities, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Present engineering recommendations in client meetings.
