Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead power distribution projects for municipal facilities in California. The role focuses on design reviews, project management, and preparation of plans and specifications for water/wastewater infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in low/medium voltage systems, P&IDs, and control schematics, with PE registration and NFPA 70E/ETAP knowledge. Opportunities include sign-on and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer registration required.
• 5–10 years in low and medium voltage power distribution for municipal facilities.
• Experience designing point-to-point conduit and wire systems for municipal facilities and water treatment plants.
• Experience developing One-Line diagrams and control schematics.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and ETAP.
• Extensive experience with medium and large-scale water/wastewater municipal projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct power distribution reviews for municipal facilities.
• Manage projects for power distribution upgrades of Water/Wastewater projects across South Florida.
• Prepare reports, develop plans, and specifications for municipal clients.
• Develop, read, and understand P&IDs and control schematics.
