QinetiQ US in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, build and troubleshoot mission-critical electronic systems for defense customers. The role spans from MIL-Spec components to advanced power electronics for submarines and unmanned platforms, with hands-on development in a multi-disciplinary team.

Experience with MIL-Specs, customer collaboration, and mentoring engineers is valued.

Competenze

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience building and testing systems.
• Familiarity with MIL-Specs and MIL-PRFs related to electrical engineering.
• Ability to see programs through from proposal to production.
• Experience interfacing with customers.
• Mentorship roles within an engineering setting.
• Experience with CAD/Analysis programs.
• DoD security clearance if required.

• Work within multidisciplinary teams to design and support complex systems.
• Oversee component life-cycle from proposal to production.
• Design and develop new and novel features for existing products.
• Troubleshoot and root cause challenging component and systems problems.
