Job summary

Hut 8 Corp. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and own electrical systems for mission-critical facilities.

You will lead from concept through field deployment, ensuring safe, reliable power delivery and energy systems for data centers and industrial applications. Ideal candidates bring a PE license, 7+ years of experience, and proficiency with NEC/NFPA 70E/IEEE standards, plus SKM/ETAP/EasyPower for protective coordination and power studies.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 7+ years designing electrical systems for data centers, industrial, or mission-critical facilities.
• Deep knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards for critical power systems.
• Proficiency with SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower; experience with N+1 and 2N redundancy.
• Experience coordinating with utilities, equipment vendors, construction teams, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems end-to-end: interconnects, substations, switchgear, generators, UPS, power distribution.
• Act as Engineer of Record for one-lines, protection coordination, short-circuit, arc-flash studies.
• Oversee field deployment, address construction issues, and lead energization and commissioning.
