Job summary

NeuroStar in the United States is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced medical device systems, spanning embedded controls, power electronics, and pulsed-power technologies.

You will drive new product development and sustaining engineering efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring high-reliability NeuroStar technology from concept to commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of product development experience.
• Strong background in analog/digital circuit design, simulation tools, MCU-based systems, embedded development, and power electronics (MOSFETs, IGBTs).
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and solve challenging problems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of embedded control systems and power delivery architectures.
• Drive electrical design from concept through production, including circuit design, prototyping, testing, and documentation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, EMC labs, and manufacturing partners to ensure performance, reliability, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Support product enhancements, sustaining engineering, and root cause investigations for existing products.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members while promoting engineering best practices and design standards.
