Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in Warrendale, PA, is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead electrical engineering tasks for life-cycle management of an infusion pump system. You will work with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, regulatory and other R&D colleagues.

Requirements include a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years in embedded design, familiarity with Altium, PSpice, oscilloscopes and signal generators, and knowledge of FDA QSR and ISO design controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of embedded design experience required.
• Experience with electrical design tools and troubleshooting hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute protocols for evaluation of changes to electro‑mechanical devices.
• Analyze and propose design changes for cost savings and quality improvements on hardware devices.
• Utilize engineering principles and problem‑solving tools to resolve testing, field, and manufacturing issues.
• Evaluate obsolescence and support requalification of electrical components.
• Maintain design requirements, specifications, risk management, and documentation; perform electrical testing and support verification/validation.
• Execute design changes through change control and document control processes.
