Job summary

REEL USA Corp. in Springfield, IL, seeks an Electrical Engineer to design electrical plans and schematics for overhead material handling systems, produce functional descriptions and calculations, and document projects for operation and maintenance manuals.

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with the North American Design Office in Canada. A BS in EE, 6+ years of design experience, a PE license, NEC/NFPA knowledge, and AutoCAD Electrical proficiency are

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical plans and schematics for overhead material handling systems.
• Produce functional descriptions and calculations for projects.
• Prepare and issue purchase requests for equipment and components.
• Document completed projects including operation and maintenance manuals.
• Support factory tests and provide remote/site test assistance.
