Job summary

HavocAI is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and test electrical systems for USVs and unmanned platforms. You will own subsystems spanning power, RF, batteries, harnessing, and interfaces, collaborating with mechanical, software and systems teams.

The role requires on-site work at North Kingstown and Rumford, RI, and a Secret clearance is preferred. You will lead bring-up, validation and documentation, ensure marine-grade robustness, and support manufacturing and field tests in maritime

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical engineering focused on system design, integration and testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
• Able to work onsite at North Kingstown, RI and Rumford, RI offices at least 3 days per week.
• Experience with RF, GPS, antennas and digital communication links.

Responsibilities

• Electrical System Design & Architecture: design, specify and integrate subsystems incl. power converters, radios, compute, batteries and antennas.
• Wiring Harness & Component Integration: produce schematics, harness drawings and interface definitions; verify assembly quality for marine environments.
• Build, Test & Troubleshooting: lead subsystem bring-up, bench testing, environmental validation and vehicle integration.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: coordinate with mechanical, software and systems engineers on interfaces and packaging.
• Documentation: create CDIDs, schematics, test reports and configuration records; support reviews and changes.
• Manufacturing Support: assist in manufacturability, test procedures, build instructions and QA for subsystems.
