Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our California offices, including San Diego, Irvine, Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Concord.

You will lead electrical design across municipal, industrial, commercial, educational, transportation, and NAVFAC markets, delivering practical, reliable, and cost-effective solutions while mentoring the team. Our hybrid model requires on-site collaboration, with three days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional consulting engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer in California (Electrical).
• US Citizen due to Federal work.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for single and multidiscipline projects.
• Plan and deliver reports, specifications, studies, and calculations.
• Mentor team members and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Prepare proposals and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver cost-effective solutions.
