Job summary
Aeris Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Project Canary, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer in Hayward, CA to design and develop the next generation of high-precision, laser-based gas analyzers. You will own the electrical architecture from concept through production, focusing on analog front-ends, laser driver circuits, and high-ENOB data paths.

Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree a plus.
- 7+ years in analog circuit design and signal processing.
- Experience with laser-based spectroscopy or optical sensing.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, debug, and validate electronics for laser-based gas analyzers.
- Lead analog front-ends for photodetectors and laser driver circuits.
- Develop high-ENOB ADC/DAC chains and high-speed interfaces.
- Own PCB architecture, layout, production readiness, and improvements.
- Evaluate new lasers and signal processing to boost analyzer performance.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, sales, and operations.
- Mentor growing team while contributing hands-on design.
