Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering from an accredited university.
• PE License (or ability to obtain Idaho licensure).
• 12+ years designing electrical systems for industrial or commercial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), voltage drop, arc flash, short-circuit, and load flow analysis.
• Experience with equipment specification, vendor submittal review, and field coordination.
• Ability to work in active construction environments and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of facility power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
• Mentor design teams and perform quality reviews of engineering deliverables.
• Prepare electrical specifications, construction documents, and bid packages.
• Review vendor submittals and coordinate with contractors during installation and commissioning.
• Support construction activities, perform site inspections, and complete punch walk activities.
• Collaborate with clients, owners, contractors, and cross-functional teams to develop project requirements.
