Job summary

Air Liquide Advanced Materials is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Branchburg, NJ, offering a hybrid schedule (3-2) and a salary range of $130k–$165k with a 10% annual bonus. The role covers design, troubleshooting, and commissioning of industrial power systems in a highly regulated environment.

You will evaluate short circuit, load flow, harmonic studies and arc-flash risks, perform design reviews, and support capital projects while ensuring safety and compliance with NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with bid/construction docs.
• Knowledge of OEM equipment manufacturers (Eaton, ABB, GE, Siemens, Schneider).
• Knowledge of NFPA-70E and arc-flash software.
• Experience with short circuit, load flow, harmonic studies, arc-flash and coordination studies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and support plant electrical distribution hardware safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical distribution systems and implement corrective actions.
• Lead design reviews and PHAs as team member or leader; support capital projects.
• Configure power monitoring systems and manage field changes on as-built documents.
