Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design for industrial or material handling systems.
• Proficiency with EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and PROFINET.
• Experience with NEC/NFPA 70 and industrial power distribution.
• Ability to design schematics, layouts, and panel standards.

Responsibilities

• Design power and electrical systems for material handling projects.
• Develop electrical layouts, schematics, and panel standardization.
• Create modular, scalable power distribution systems prioritizing reliability.
• Establish best practices for panel placement, grounding, and safety circuits.
• Prepare single-line diagrams and panel schedules.
• Work with EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and PROFINET networks.
• Specify and integrate VFDs and interfaces within systems.
• Select sensors, encoders, safety devices per standards.
• Develop complete electrical design packages including power, schematic, and field device integration.
• Audit installations for NEC compliance and quality standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Stay current with NEC revisions and NFPA updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; mentor junior engineers.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup activities.
