Job summary

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity; apply engineering principles to building projects.
Minimum of 7-10 years of related experience.
Experience in Electrical Design for facilities, including plans, specs, and calculations.
Knowledge of Power Distribution systems, including panel schedules, feeders, and coordination with utilities.
Understanding of Power Systems, short-circuit analysis, protective device coordination, system reliability.
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEEE and local building regulations.
Proficiency with CAD and/or BIM tools (AutoCAD or Revit) and standard engineering software for electrical calculations.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and government facilities.
Develop drawings and specifications; perform load calculations.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and participate in meetings.
Support construction administration: review submittals and respond to RFIs.
Assist with cost estimates, value engineering, and quality/safety standards across projects.
