Job summary

Dürr Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to design and implement industrial control systems. You will translate mechanical and customer requirements into practical electrical designs, create schematics and documentation, and develop PLC/HMI software for industrial equipment.

Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle, from design reviews to commissioning, ensuring on-time, compliant delivery of electrical deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience designing electrical systems for industrial controls.
• Experience with PLC/HMI programming and industrial networking.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and apply NEC/local codes.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail complete industrial control systems translating customer requirements into electrical solutions.
• Create electrical schematics, system drawings, calculations, and documentation.
• Develop and support PLC/controller software and GUI code for industrial equipment.
• Select and specify electrical components and networking hardware.
• Own the electrical scope of assigned projects including schedules and documentation control.
• Collaborate with customers to establish design goals and participate in reviews.
• Coordinate with mechanical, software, procurement, and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support installation, site verification, startup, debugging, and commissioning.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical hardware, software, networking issues.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure deliverables are ready for execution.
