RoyOMartin Corrigan TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, troubleshoot, and support electrical systems in a manufacturing setting. You will lead projects, manage budgets, and mentor plant electricians to improve reliability and safety.

The role requires a BS in EE or related field with 5+ years in industrial electrical/controls, plus experience with AutoCAD and Rockwell controls. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years in industrial electrical, controls or automation.
• Strong AC/DC power and low-voltage motor control knowledge.
• Experience with three-phase 15kV and 480V switchgear.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, servo systems and HMIs.
• Familiarity with PLC networking and industrial switches.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E arc flash requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of short circuit studies and protective device coordination.
• Experience with process instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow).

Responsibilities

• Serve as electrical SME and technical resource across departments.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex power and control issues.
• Design, coordinate, and commission electrical/projects.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and contractors.
• Support and maintain Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, HMIs, networks.
• Maintain Rockwell AOP, EDS, and firmware files.
• Maintain electrical specs, drawings, and documentation.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for electrical equipment.
• Mentor and train plant electricians.
• Ensure NFPA 70E arc flash compliance and safety.
• Perform short circuit studies and protection coordination.
• Support instrumentation: pressure, temp, flow.
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate new technologies.
