Job summary

Nidec is seeking an Electrical Engineer in the United States to design and implement industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and drive systems, across automation projects.

You will create detailed drawings, budgets, and technical reports, and ensure compliance with safety standards; collaboration with clients and internal teams is essential.

Experience with AUTOCAD Electrical, EPLAN, and multiple PLC platforms is preferred; a BS in Electrical Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Controls Engineering required.
• Minimum 5+ years designing/implementing industrial control systems.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and drives (VFDs).

Responsibilities

• Make plans using detailed drawings.
• Prepare estimates and budgets.
• Create accurate project specifications.
• Design engineering experiments.
• Create technical reports for customers.
• Complete regulatory documents concerning safety issues.
