Job summary

A leading technology company in Sterling, VA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design of cutting-edge cUAS technology. You will own the development of electrical systems from concept to production, ensuring compliance with safety and reliability standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PCB design and embedded firmware development. This position supports a hybrid work model with in-person collaboration required on select days. Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical design and system integration for complex hardware products.
• Strong hands-on experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and mixed-signal design.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD, DO-178/DO-254 concepts or other ruggedization for defense hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system development from concept through production.
• Define electrical architectures for sensors and power distribution.
• Design and review schematics; perform PCB layout for mixed-signal and RF boards.
• Conduct electrical analysis including signal integrity and EMI/EMC mitigation.
