The candidate will perform electrical calculations, code research, QAQC, and collaborate across disciplines. A PE license and 5+ years in AEC are required for handling crime lab and similar facilities projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• Professional Engineer licensure required.
• 5+ years in the AEC industry with crime lab experience preferred.
• Experience with design, coordination, and code compliance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development and electrical calculations across schematic, design development, and construction document phases.
• Prepare technical documentation for electrical systems and equipment schedules.
• Develop and review electrical system layouts in Revit and coordinate with disciplines.
• Review RFIs and submittals, perform field verification and construction observation.
• Mentor electrical designers and interns on software use and documentation standards.
• Participate in project meetings and track hours.
