Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of Rail/Transit Infrastructure projects, from concept and planning to construction and closeout
• Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and procurement documents
• Conduct site inspections and perform acceptance testing on electrical installations
• Coordinate electrical work with other engineering disciplines and departments
• Review supplier drawing submittals and respond to field requests for information

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8-12 years of heavy industrial/facilities electrical design experience
• PE (Professional Engineer) Certification
• Experience in electrical engineering design for transportation projects is highly desirable
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for utility companies or in industrial buildings
• Familiarity with construction-related processes in the area of assignment
• Potential to perform in a lead capacity on projects
