Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design across municipal, industrial, commercial, and federal projects in California. You will drive electrical reports, plans, specifications, and calculations while mentoring junior staff.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment with offices around California and opportunities to collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team on critical infrastructure projects for clients like NAVFAC and state agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 7–10 years of professional consulting engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer in California (Electrical).
• US citizenship required due to Federal Work.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for single and multi-discipline projects, managing budgets and delivery.
• Develop electrical reports, plans, specifications, studies, and calculations.
• Coordinate and mentor team members and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Prepare proposals and respond to client requirements and budgets.
• Support business development and client relationships on NAVFAC and municipal projects.
