Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our California offices, supporting municipal, industrial, and NAVFAC projects. You will lead electrical design for multi-discipline teams, manage budgets, and drive client-centered solutions across water/wastewater facilities, lighting, power distribution, and backup systems.

The role leverages coordination with architects, civil, mechanical and instrumentation engineers, and emphasizes mentoring, design standards, and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of professional consulting engineering experience with water/wastewater, property and buildings, waterfront, and/or industrial projects.
• Registered Professional Engineer in California (Electrical).
• US Citizenship required due to Federal Work.

Responsibilities

• Leading the electrical design for single and multidiscipline projects, budgets, administration and delivery.
• Collaborating on projects including water/wastewater, waterfront, architectural, industrial and related work.
• Mentoring less experienced team members and coordinating with multi-discipline teams.
• Developing proposals and supporting business development activities.
