Acceleron Fusion, a leader in muon-catalyzed fusion technology, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design advanced high-voltage systems for fusion experiments. This full-time role involves innovative tasks like developing RF solutions and collaborating with diverse technical teams, all while contributing to a groundbreaking energy source.
Cambridge, MA
About Acceleron Fusion:
Acceleron Fusion is developing muon‑catalyzed fusion—a path to clean, abundant energy. Building on research sponsored by the U.S. DOE, we have recently raised a $24M Series A venture capital round and have already logged 100+ hours of muon-catalyzed fusion in tests at the Paul Scherrer Institute. Our collaborators include PSI, Oak Ridge, Argonne, Fermilab, and several universities. Join a team where fundamental physics meets application-oriented engineering, and your designs could help move our technology from the laboratory to a commercial energy source.
About this role:
We’re looking for an experienced electrical systems engineer to design advanced beam-control hardware for our fusion experiments. You will develop high-voltage and RF solutions that enable precise manipulation of particle beams at energies from kilovolts to megavolts.
