Job summary

Cricut is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Utah to accelerate development, prototyping, and debugging of our smart cutting machines. You will design mixed analog and digital circuits, motor control, and wireless interfaces while guiding PCB fabrication and production readiness.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in board design for consumer electronics, Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi experience, and a collaborative, fast-paced approach in a cross-functional team. This is an in-office role five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in digital/analog board design.
• Experience with consumer electronics, especially electro-mechanical devices.
• Experience with board-level debug & bring-up.
• Experience with Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mixed analog & digital circuits for new products.
• Design motor control circuits for stepper/servo motors and sensors.
• Develop HW interfaces for Wi‑Fi, USB, Bluetooth, and other wireless communications.
• Specify and select microcontrollers and other board-level components.
• Develop PCB schematic, layout and fabrication/assembly files.
