Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Development team in Miamisburg, OH. You will design portable and industrial printers, RFID and wireless solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market.

You will manage milestones, perform architectural reviews, and provide circuit designs from concept through production, applying advanced mixed-signal techniques and EMI considerations to ensure high reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 9+ years of experience in mixed signal design.
• Proficient in LTSpice or TINA and advanced circuit analysis tools.
• Experience with Mentor Graphics or Altium for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Extensive RFID, SPI, I2C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, analog and power circuits, and thermal printhead control logic.
• Experience with EMC and Safety regulatory approvals and test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Design new products from concept to mass production while balancing multiple projects.
• Participate in hardware development, perform design reviews, and drive architectural planning.
• Present design information and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain awareness of industry advances and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support for existing printer product lines and address yield issues and component obsolescence.
