Job summary

Blue-Signal-Search in Phoenix is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and project delivery across a diverse portfolio of building projects. This on-site role combines hands-on design with component ownership and strategic influence.

The ideal candidate will bring a PE license, strong electrical engineering background in an AEC setting, and recent Revit experience. You will work closely with owners, architects, and contractors to deliver code-compliant solutions and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• PE license is required; reciprocal licensure allowed.
• Extensive electrical design and engineering within AEC consulting.
• Experience running projects from concept to construction while staying hands-on.
• Recent Revit experience for electrical design and documentation.
• Ability to produce drawings, calculations, and deliverables with minimal ramp-up.
• Strong client-facing communication with external partners.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and project delivery across a diverse portfolio of building projects.
• Stay active in production work: Revit design, drawings, calculations, one-line diagrams, docs.
• Manage projects from planning through construction support, balancing client communication, schedule, budget.
• Partner with architects, owners, contractors, and internal disciplines to develop practical electrical solutions.
• Support expansion of internal electrical capabilities within a growing consulting environment.
• Contribute to business development by strengthening relationships and identifying opportunities.
• Provide construction phase support: field coordination, issue resolution, project questions.
• Help establish strong standards for quality, responsiveness, and delivery.
