Job summary

M Force Partners is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in New Haven, CT. This contract-to-hire role focuses on leading the design of high-performance digital, analog, and mixed-signal electronics across multiple programs.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of EE experience, expertise in FPGA development with VHDL, power electronics, PCB layout, and BOM/ECO management. Hybrid work arrangement is available and the project spans advanced high-tech applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of professional Electrical Engineering experience.
Experience with digital, analog and mixed-signal circuits.
FPGA design experience using VHDL.
Knowledge of switching power supplies and power electronics.
Schematic capture and PCB layout experience.
BOMs and ECOs management experience.
Proficiency with Altium Designer, SPICE, and MATLAB/Simulink.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design high-performance digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits.
Develop impedance-controlled designs using CPUs, DDR memory, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and USB.
Design mixed analog and digital circuits with A/D and D/A converters.
Develop FPGA designs using VHDL and validate with test benches.
Create test benches, run simulations, manage timing and routing.
Design onboard power supplies including buck/boost converters and LDOs.
Develop analog sensor interfaces, amplifiers, and low-noise conditioning.
Perform circuit simulation and validation with SPICE.
Support schematic capture, PCB layout, BOMs, and ECOs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support production release.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance.
