Job summary

The Senior Electrical Engineer at Stealth Startup leads electrical design for complex building projects in Fort Lauderdale, including high-rise and stadium developments. You will stamp plans where permitted, review drawings for code compliance, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering

Qualifications

• Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Senior-level experience in electrical engineering within an MEP environment.
• Significant experience designing electrical systems for complex building projects.
• Previous experience at an MEP engineering firm is required.
• Strong proficiency with Revit and CAD.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, codes, and project requirements.
• Strong leadership and project coordination experience.
• Stable employment history and professional growth.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• On-site work in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for complex building projects (residential, commercial, stadium, high-rise).
• Develop, review, and approve electrical drawings, plans, specifications, calculations, schedules, and documentation.
• Use Revit and CAD to coordinate and manage electrical designs.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle from concept to construction.
• Review designs for accuracy, code compliance, constructability, and coordination.
• Coordinate electrical work with architects, contractors, and other MEP disciplines.
• Participate in design and coordination meetings with clients and teams.
• Provide engineering solutions to complex issues and stamp plans when permitted.
• Review RFIs, field conditions, and design changes; perform required analyses.
• Mentor junior staff and provide feedback on engineering work and documentation.
• Support project managers with schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
