Job summary

CorSource Technology Group, a locally owned technical staffing and recruiting firm, seeks an Electrical Engineer 3 to support the Facilities Engineering group. The contractor will conduct system analyses, design reviews, and coordinate electrical work for substations and telecom sites, covering building electrical, lighting, HVAC, and power distribution.

The role requires reviewing AE designs, supporting COR, performing load flow and short circuit analyses, and ensuring compliance with NEC,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET accredited) is required.
  • 10 years of work-related experience in electrical engineering concepts and practices.
  • 7 years of design/engineering of low and medium voltage systems with relevant codes and safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI and related industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide electrical engineering expertise for company buildings and building systems, including substations and telecom facilities.
  • Perform site assessments, planning, design reviews, and submittal reviews; assist COR with RFIs and field inspections.
  • Design electrical systems for building facilities: power distribution, lighting, panels, cabling, and grounding.
  • Review AE submittals and ensure compliance with codes and company standards.
  • Conduct load flow studies, arc flash analysis, and short-circuit analyses for 50V–480V systems.
