Job summary

Rehlko in Kohler, Wisconsin, is seeking a Sr. Staff Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and implement electrical components, systems, and software for engine control on Rehlko engine platforms. This hybrid role requires on-site work three days per week in Kohler, WI.

You will lead software strategy from requirements to validation, work with ECU suppliers, and develop features using MATLAB/Simulink. Applicants must have extensive experience in model-based development and can lead complex

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on embedded system development.
8+ years of experience in automotive/software development for powertrain or commercial vehicles.
4+ years MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow experience; TargetLink a plus.
Experience with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters).
Experience with ASCET/INCA, MotoHawk/Mototune or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead software and hardware development for engine control systems and fuel injection software.
Develop and test software using MATLAB/Simulink; lead HIL testing.
Collaborate with suppliers to integrate software into final products.
Define and implement software verification plans and test environments.
Deliver projects on time, cost, and quality with risk assessment.
